Mauritanian pilgrims completed their arrival at Mina on Monday, the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, to spend Tarwiyah Day (the day of watering) until dawn on the 9th, following the Prophet's example. Authorities coordinated the transfer of pilgrims from their accommodations in Mecca to their camps in Mina during nighttime hours, with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs urging adherence to preventive health measures amid high temperatures in the sacred sites.
